Admission Requirements and Procedures for International Students
General Admission Requirements:
The applicant must comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
The applicant must have a high school diploma or its equivalent (postgraduate programs: bachelor’s degree or/and master’s degree) from inside or outside the Kingdom.
Certificates and supporting documents must be authenticated by the concerned authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The applicant must have the qualified grade for admission in the standardized tests (Qiyas) or its equivalent, and it must not have been more than two years old.
The applicant must not have been academically dismissed from the university or any other university. If it becomes clear after the applicant’s acceptance that he or she has previously been dismissed, the acceptance will be considered void.
The university does not accept any high school certificate that is more than five years old.
The applicant must be medically fit.
The applicant’s information entered electronically must be correct and in conformity with the rules and what was reported to the university from the relevant authorities.
The university may require that the applicant obtain academic recommendations from one of the university’s respected entities or figures.
Procedures for Accepting International Students:
Apply online through the admission portal for international students.
The applicant’s documents are checked and verified.
Tuition fees for the semester are paid if the applicant is nominated and reserves a seat at the university.
Nomination selection is made through a placement test
The candidate’s information is uploaded via the Ministry’s approved platform for international students.
The student will be notified after obtaining final approval to complete admission procedures and begin studies.
Financial Rules and Payment Requirements for International Students:
Tuition fees are paid within the period specified by the university.
The value of the approved tuition fees is fixed and there is no reduction or exemption.
Semester fees must be paid before the beginning of each semester.
Payment is made through the official electronic payment portal.
The student has the right to withdraw from the program according to the following:
If a student intends to withdraw within the first four weeks according to the university calendar, 10% of the tuition fee amount will be deducted as an administrative fee.
If a student intends to withdraw from the fifth week until the end of the seventh week from the start of study according to the university calendar, 25% of the tuition fee amount will be deducted.
If a student intends to withdraw from the eighth week until the tenth week of the start of study according to the university calendar, 50% of the tuition fee amount will be deducted.
If a student intends to withdraw after the tenth week of the start of study according to the university calendar, the student is not entitled to recover any part of the tuition fees.
